Tillie T. Dziuk, loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother , age 97, peacefully entered into Heaven on April 19, 2014
Born on June 8, 1916, in Panna Maria, Texas, to Domin and Emelia (Yosko) Pieprzyca, she later married Henry A. Dziuk, in Panna Maria,
Texas, on August 31, 1937. Together they established and owned Dziuk’s Service Center in Karnes City, Texas. She also was a loving wife and homemaker.
A devoted Catholic, Tillie was a member of St. Cornelius Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America and St. Cornelius Catholic Church Altar Society.
Preceeding her in death were her husband, parents, five sisters, Nora Pieprzyca, Rosie Dworaczyk, Lorraine (Bootsie) Jendrusch, Sally Malik, Irene Dworaczyk and one brother, Ben Pieprzyca.
Tillie is survived by one son, Robert (Judy) Dziuk, of Rockport, Texas; three daughters, Alene (Marvin) Kyrish of Colleyville, Texas; Carolyn (John) Smolik of Dallas, Texas; Jeanette (Ted) Gregg of St. Germain, Wisconsin; eleven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by one dear sister, Alice P. Jendrusch, of Falls City, Texas; brother-in-law Gene Dworaczyk, of Hobson, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tillie was cared for with great love and compassion by the Seraphic Sisters and staff at John Paul II Nursing Home, Kenedy, Texas, for the last years of her life.
Visitation will be Friday, April 25, from 5 to 7 at Rhodes Funeral Chapel in Karnes City, Texas, followed by a Rosary.
A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Fr. Wieslaw Iwaniec, will be celebrated on April 26 at 10am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Panna Maria, Texas. Interment will follow at the Panna Maria
Cemetery. Pallbearers include grandsons Brian Dziuk, Mike Kyrish, Chuck Kyrish, great- grandson Mat Wetmore, nephews Anthony Kruciak, Ronnie Jendrusch, Tim Pieprzyca.
The family would be honored by a memorial donation in her memory to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Panna Maria, Texas or St. Cornelius Catholic Church, Karnes City, Texas.
