KARNES CITY – A total of 17 individuals were indicted on felony charges by a Karnes County grand jury May 16.

Christopher Zepeda, 50, was chrged with driving while intoxicated – subsequent offense.

Shelby Wood, 20, was charged with possession of marijuana.

Henry Valdonado, 33, was charged with evading arrest.

Oscar Preciado-Nuno, 37, was charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter.

Clayton Lewis, 26, was charged with criminal mischief.

Robert Brown, 35, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Juan Espinoza was charged with assault on a public servant with third degree felony enhancement.

Taurus Shamar Ephrain was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a public servant (first degree felony) and possession of a deadly weapon in a penal institution with third degree felony enhancement.

Glenn Ray Macks was charged with possession of a deadly weapon in a penal institution with third degree felony enhancement.

Eric Trevino was charged with possession of a prohibited item in a correctional facility (third degree felony), possession of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility (third degree felony).

Lakendrick Lasha Northern was charged with possession of a prohibited item in a correctional facility with enhancement.

Aaron Vega was charged with possession of a prohibited item in a correctional facility with enhancement.

Miguel Ramos was charged with possession of a prohibited item in a correctional facility with enhancement.

Raynard Dewayne Allen was charged with possession of a prohibited item in a correctional facility with enhancement.

Robert James Ord was charged with possession of a prohibited item in a correctional facility with enhancement.

Shelby Smith, 24, was charged with being provided a prohibited item in a correctional facility (third degree felony). Bond was set at $5,000.

Charles Ray Gibson was charged with sexual assault (second degree felony) with enhancement.
