She was born Dec. 3, 1925 in Fashing, to Fermin Guerra and Amada Gonzalez Guerra. In 1941, she married Antonio Treviño Davila. They owned and operated Davila Garage in Kenedy where she tended to the front office and kept the books.
Mrs. Davila is preceded in death by her parents, Fermin and Amada Guerra; her son, Antonio Davila, Jr.; her sisters, Celia Alejandro, Ninfa DeLaGarza and Belia Friesenhahn and her brothers, Benito Guerra, Manuel Guerra and Guadalupe Guerra.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Antonio T. Davila; sons, Manuel (Madelon) Davila of Kenedy, Alfred G. (Viola) Davila of San Antonio and Rudy (Sylvia) Davila of Victoria; and five grandchildren.
Visitation began at 8 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8 in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel, Kenedy. A rosary was recited that morning at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church with the Celebration of Mass following that same day at the church with Rev. Norbert Herman officiating.
Interment followed in the Loma Alta Cemetery.
