The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Kenedy will host the 9th Annual Ladies Tea to raise funds to benefit the Karnes County Relay for Life, American Cancer Society. The tea will again take place at the Kenedy Municipal Auditorium Saturday, March 8 at 1 p.m. with a salad buffet luncheon including all types of salads.

Tickets are now on sale with admission at $20 per person. Ticket sales and tips raised by the waiters will all go to the American Cancer Society. Please call the church office for tickets and more information at 830-583-2285. All Good Shepherd Lutheran Church ladies are selling tickets for the event.

The theme for this year’s affair will be “Western”. The entertainment once again, will be Karnes County’s very own, John Wayne Schulz. John Wayne is a former 2011 American Idol contestant who made it all the way to the Top 40.

Due to rave reviews and last year being the teas biggest success yet, tickets are in great demand so make sure to buy them early. There are only 200 seats available. This is a perfect event for those that want to get a group together and enjoy great food and entertainment.
