4-H RECORDBOOK

Record books are an important part to maintaining your 4-H project. In order to compete for county awards or scholarships you need a recordbook. Please come by the office if you are eligible for the Bronze, Silver, Gold Awards or the 4-H Booster Scholarship. This year, you will enter your Recordbook on line. Please submit a hard copy to our office on June 21. Please go to 4hreports.com to follow the instructions on how to do the Recordbook online. Recordbooks will be due in the County Extension Office, Thursday, June 21 by 5 p.m.

MAJOR SHOW STEER VALIDATION

This year Major Show Steer Validation will be on Wednesday, June 20 from 5-7 p.m. at the Karnes City Veterinary Hospital. The exhibitor does not have to be present at validation, but a parent or legal guardian must be present to sign the paperwork. All steers must be validated on June 20 unless a major emergency arises. Please call the extension office at 780-3906 if you have any questions.
