The Kenedy Chamber of Commerce would like to introduce Kelsey Yeater as their new Executive Director. Kelsey Yeater was born and raised in Kenedy. She graduated from Kenedy High School in 2007 and then moved to College Station where she attended Texas A&M University. In May of 2012 Kelsey graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science. She majored in Recreation, Park & Tourism Sciences and minored in Communications. Kelsey is very passionate about her hometown and as the new Executive Director of the Kenedy Chamber of Commerce she plans to serve the community and give back all that Kenedy has given to her.

The chamber is making great progress getting everything in order at the new building. The phone lines are up and running, the internet is connected and the new furniture has been installed. In the next couple of weeks two flag poles and a new LED sign will be set up in the front of the building. The Open House and Ribbon Cutting for the newly constructed Kenedy Chamber of Commerce & Visitor's Center will be Friday, Feb. 22 from 4-6 p.m. All community members are invited to attend.

The chamber is introducing a new event to our area, the "Kenedy Grapewine Classic" March 16 at the Kenedy City Park Gazebo area. Tickets will be available and sold at the chamber office during normal business hours and by board members for $20 pre-sale. Find us on the Facebook page to stay updated on news for the event.
