Mr. Montez graduated from Everman High School in 1978 and worked for Vecta Contract in Grand Prairie until opening his company Upholstery’s Vision in Everman. He was a devout Christian.
Survivors include parents, Reynaldo Montez, Sr. and Sira of Everman; sisters, Linda Montez of Fort Worth, Grace Montez of Everman, Terrie (Kenneth) Montez-Pinner of Fort Worth, Marie (Jesse) Miller of Fort Worth; brother, Albert Montez of Everman; 4 nieces; 4 grand-nieces; 3 grand-nephews and numerous friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. at Eckols Funeral Home, Kenedy. Viewing was held Thursday evening, Feb. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m.
