The 25th Annual Children’s Hospital Trail Ride Association will kick off their new year with the annual Team Roping held at Mesquite Hall Arena in Adkins March 1 and 2. This years prizes include a bumper pull horse trailer, saddles, and buckles along with many other great donated prizes and as always a great cash payout.

The annual trail ride will take place March 15 and 16 at the Cestohowa Hall in Cestohowa. Registration will take place Friday afternoon until 9 p.m. and again Saturday morning. Join for a fun filled round robin trail ride weekend for a great cause.

A fried chicken dinner will be served at 5 p.m. with to go plates available. Dance the night away to Ranch Rock from 9-1.

Also mark your calendars for the Barbecue Cook-off to be held May 18 at the Cestohowa Hall.

Children's Hospital Trail Ride is a non-profit organization in its 25th year of operation. Dedicated to providing funds to the Children's Hospital of San Antonio this organization depends on the hard work of its many volunteers to put on the three annual events that are well known throughout South Texas. All proceeds benefit Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, formally CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital to purchase new equipment to meet the unique needs of the children of South Texas. Last year’s contribution to the hospital was $49,000 with hope to surpass that this year since it is the 25th Anniversary.
