A baking basket (above) with cookbooks, cookie cutters, garlic press, towels, pot holders, coasters and more and a wine basket (below) are a few samples of the many baskets donated for Garden Club’s ‘Texas Christmas’ auction on Thursday, Dec. 6. There will be both a silent and live auction, free food and drinks along with entertainment. Proceeds will benefit the Beeville Garden Club’s community projects.
Tickets are $15 each (or tables for eight may be reserved for $150) and are available from any Garden Club member, at the Chamber of Commerce or by calling Teresa Holland at 358-1550 or 362-1550.
There will be a silent and live auction, free food, drinks (including wine) and entertainment. The proceeds from this event enable the Garden Club to continue to beautify Beeville with projects such as the courthouse grounds, Veterans Plaza, Veterans Memorial Wall area, Coastal Bend College plantings and the new butterfly garden with 55-foot water feature at Flournoy Park, just to mention a few.
Many businesses have made contributions for the auction, so come on out and place your bids. Door prizes also will be given throughout the event.
