Mr. Moreno was born Oct. 27, 1953, to Flora Maldonado Moreno and Amado Espinoza Moreno Sr.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Keelan Anthony Moreno; his parents, Flora and Amado Moreno; four brothers, Eugenio Vidaure, Pedro, Felipe and Agapito Moreno; an uncle, Martin Moreno; a niece, Cecilia Angel Garza Pardo; and two nephews, Jose Guadalupe Fidencio Ramirez and Arturo Lee Moreno.
Survivors include his son, Amado M. (Jason) Moreno Kay of Beeville; his wife, Rosa Borjas of Alvarado; three stepchildren, Elena Borjas of Mathis, Dalia Borjas and Joe Luis Borjas, both of Alvarado; two brothers, Gregorio (Veda) Moreno of Alvarado and Juan Manuel Moreno of Dallas; a sister, Juanita M. Campos of Beeville; stepmother Minerva Martinez Moreno of Beeville; three stepbrothers, Tony, Sisto and Arturo Arredondo of Beeville, eight stepsisters, Beatrice Long, Irma Reynero, Dora, Elena and Lupita Arredondo, Celina Camacho, Rosie Landreth of Beeville and Yolanda Flores of Dallas; three aunts, Alejandra Moreno, Elvira Mungia, Olga Galvan of Beeville; a great-aunt Emiteria Amaguyer of San Diego, Calif.; and five sisters-in-law, Lupita Vidaure of Deerbourne, Mich., Lupita Canales of Houston, Julia G. Moreno, Yolanda G. Moreno and Victoria Moreno of Beeville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was conducted Monday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. at Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel in Alvarado. Interment followed at Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
