The Falls City Beaverettes softball team lost to Junction in the regional quarterfinal “best of three” series.

Junction won Game 1 on May 9 at Boerne Champion High School by a score of 7-2, and then also won Game 2 at Westlake High School in Austin on May 11 by a score of 9-5.

The Beaverettes finished the season as regional quarterfinalists and Junction will now advance to the next playoff round.

“Junction has a really good team and we fought every inch of the way, but just could not hold them off,” said Coach Travis Ehrlich. “I am extremely proud of my girls and will greatly miss my eight seniors. We finished the season 13-3 as District and Area Champions.”
