Producers, agricultural associations, corporations, universities, government agencies and countless others across America will gather in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the abundance provided by agriculture.
The Agriculture Council of America, organizers of National Ag Day, believes that every American should understand how food, fiber and renewable products are produced and should value the essential role of agriculture in maintaining a strong economy. Focused on sharing how agriculture provides almost everything we eat, use and wear on a daily basis, the National Ag Day program helps educate millions of consumers each year. As the world population soars, there is a greater demand for the food, fiber and products that the United States produces.
Brush Country CattleWomen took this opportunity to salute area farmers and ranchers who work diligently on the land to provide safe, plentiful food for area families and others around the world.
