The Pre-K students of Pettus ISD (Patricia Staples Pre-K teacher) had a busy and fun-filled day on Monday, May 5, celebrating Cinco de Mayo by wearing flower hats and sombreros. The students have planted a garden this year and have been busy dragging water hoses and pulling weeds. The garden is now producing tomatoes, squash, bell peppers and lovely yellow roses.
