Update 10:55 a.m.

Beeville and Bee County officials made the following announcement.

"Bee County Residents: Beeville Mayor David Carabajal has deactivated the Emergency Operations Center effective 7:30 am on 12-5-13. EOC is staffed with minimal personnel and we continue to answer questions from citizens. EOC number is 361-621-1567. The Water Boil Alert remains in effect until further notice. Please boil water for all household use."

The city experienced a water outage on Tuesday due to water line breaks during the Thanksgiving holiday and clogged filter earlier this week at the pumping station. Residents are now getting water through their pipes. The boil notice remains in effect until further notice.
