Volunteers should arrive at the company’s office at 125 W. FM 351 by 8 a.m. that day.
Lunch will be provided so volunteers are encouraged to RSVP by calling 3-G Electric Co. at 542-6867 so that organizers will know how many meals to order.
Also, organizers say they are in need of trash bags. Any business in Beeville that can provide trash bags for the clean-up effort would be appreciated, said Marco Garcia, office manager for 3-G Electric.
He also urged businesses to see if their employees would volunteer to help out in the clean-up effort.
3-G Electric had scheduled a similar clean-up effort in February but it was rained out.
The city of Beeville plans to hold its annual Spring Clean-up effort on Saturday, April 18.
“We wanted to hold ours a week earlier so that we could help the city of Beeville,” Garcia explained. “Every little bit of trash we pick up this weekend means less trash to be picked up the following weekend.”
