The City of Kenedy had a very successful “Clean Up Day”  Saturday, June 7. Several people from the community helped, bringing items to throw away, and 17 specific locations were cleaned up by city employees, Kenedy citizens and volunteers. Several large trash trucks from IESI were filled with unwanted items and taken away. Lanny Holland, Building Official for the City of Kenedy helped organize the project, Michael Moore with IESI was present directing his crew, and folks from Keep Karnes County Beautiful gave the city the support and assisted with picking up items from homes.
