GOLIAD – The anticipated arctic cold front hit Goliad at 9:41 a.m. Thursday and is expected to bring a chill to the area throughout the weekend.

The temperature in Goliad at 10:15 a.m. was 62 degrees as north winds reached 19 mph.

Temperatures are expected to drop to the 40s tonight. Possible light rain and drizzle is in the forecast throughout the weekend.

The high temperatures Friday and Saturday are expected to be in the upper 30s and low 40s.
