REFUGIO – Organizers at the Refugio County Jamboree have packed an all-star lineup for this month’s show on Thursday, Aug. 23.

Blake Anthony of Rockport, Sydnie Maguire of Beeville, Harvey Bailey of Victoria and the Whiskey River Band of Victoria will join the Jamboree Band at 7:30 p.m. for an evening of country music’s favorite tunes.

Anthony started playing the guitar at the age of six, and performed during his pre-teen years around Corpus Christi.

It has been said “when Blake steps in front of an audience, his genuine and deeply seated desire to bring a smile to every person’s heart is heard louder that the music or the words to his songs,” said, Rick Faircloth, organizer.

Admission is $5 and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Refugio Community Center.

Sandwiches, desserts, freshly cooked hamburgers and drinks will be served at the concession area.

For more information, contact Rick at 361-293-5887 or the Refugio Chamber of Commerce at 526-2835.
