BEEVILLE — Police are looking for information that could lead to an arrest following a burglary at a residence in the 1400 block of West Bowie Street.

The victim said she discovered the burglary when she returned home shortly after 8 p.m. on Dec. 21.

She said she had been gone since about 2 p.m. When she and her family returned she noticed that several items were missing, including a Vizio flat panel, 48-inch television worth $848 that had been in the living room and a 37-inch Sanyo television that had a DVD player in the television set. That television was worth $500.

In addition, the victim discovered about $500 worth of jewelry missing.

The home owner then led officers to a rear window in the kitchen and showed them where someone had smashed the glass, leaving shards of broken glass on the window sill and on the kitchen floor.

All other doors and windows in the home were locked and intact.
