The Cub Scouts are asking the community to help with the food drive, which benefits the Goliad Food Bank.
Scouts will be going door-to-door on Nov. 3 to collect canned goods. Scouts are also selling popcorn as their annual fundraiser. They will be taking orders for the next two weeks.
On Thursday, Oct. 18, there will be a pack meeting and recruitment night. It is Fire Prevention month and members of the Goliad Volunteer Fire Department will be at the pack meeting.
