County and school district officials said that due to a number of factors, there were errors in the lists, although the maps are accurate.
As result of the errors in the address lists, many voter registration cards show the wrong district.
County officials were unable to say how many addresses were affected, but one candidate who is running for a place on the school board estimated that as many as 20 percent are inaccurate, based on conversations he had with voters while campaigning. KCISD voters are encouraged to look at the attached maps to help them determine in which district they are able to vote. Questions can be directed to the school district at 830-780-2321 or the county elections department at 830-780-2246.
