BEEVILLE — It was a great performance out of both teams. Woodsboro shoots 72 percent from the free throw line to defeat the Yorktown Wildcats 63-43. Once again all players played a key role in this victory. It’s nice to have several strong players, because each game a new player steps up to the plate and lead the group.
Conner Payne led the team with 15 points; Wyatt Foss contributed 13; Lionel Brown, 11; Tyler Quesada, 9; Garret Horner and Logan Moses, 5 each; John Cisneros, 3; Jonathan Flores two.
Woodsboro faced off Weimar in Victoria Event Center on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 6:30 p.m.
