The bride was given in marriage by her father, Ralph S. Edwards. She wore a blush, re-embroidered lace corset bodice, trumpet gown with hand-appliquéd lace skirt designed by Monique Lhuillier and accentuated with a jeweled sash by Erin Cole and a Vera Wang veil. She carried a bouquet of cascading Sterling long-stemmed roses and purple orchids.
The ceremony was held on the top floor of the Guenther Pavilion with the wedding party surrounded by arrangements of cascading white roses, orchids, hydrangeas and accented with Sterling roses before a backdrop of windows overlooking the River Walk and downtown San Antonio. A string trio directed by Jane Henry, cousin of the bride, provided classical musical selections for the ceremony.
The matron of honor was Ann Miller of Poteet. Bridesmaids included Jessica Jendrzey of Karnes City and Maria Alcolea of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and junior bridesmaid was Margaret Koehler, cousin of the bride, of San Antonio. The attendants wore violet, chiffon Grecian gowns and carried lavender and pink roses.

The best man was Brett Dunn of San Antonio, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Michael Falls of San Antonio and Matt Schauer of Williamsport, Pa. Ushers were Luke A. Dunn and Cole R. Dunn of San Antonio, both nephews of the groom. The ringbearer was Kolton Kuykendall, cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, an open bar reception was held on the ground floor of the Guenther Pavilion and the McNutt Courtyard and Sculpture Garden. Hors d’oeuvres of a variety of shrimp, quail, cheeses and fruit with champagne and wine were passed among the guests. A seated dinner followed and served apple chutney-stuffed chicken breast and beef tenderloin with garlic mashed red potatoes and haricots verts. The bride’s cake was a four-tiered white confection decorated with fresh flowers, and the groom’s cake was a red velvet decorated with his family’s cattle brand and adorned with fresh strawberries.
The tables were beautifully decorated with pink, lavender and purple flower centerpieces atop tall, silver pedestals while the tables were draped in lilac, floor-length table cloths with swirled silver overlay. Place settings consisted of silver chargers, silver-rimmed china and linen violet napkins.
London Calling of Austin provided music for the reception.
Under a shower of rose petals, the couple departed the reception in a chauffeured, white Rolls Royce Corniche convertible.
Hosted by the groom’s parents, a rehearsal dinner was held the evening before at Bohanan’s Prime on the River Walk and was attended by 40 close family and friends. Numerous toasts were given in honor of the bride and groom.
