Fatal wreck Sunday night on U.S. Highway 59

GOLIAD COUNTY – The Goliad County Sheriff's Office confirmed Sunday night that a major wreck on U.S. Highway 59 between Goliad and Berclair has resulted in multiple fatalities.

The wreck occurred around 7 p.m., approximately 20 miles east of Beeville.

Several victims were taken by Halo-Flight to Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi.

Goliad County SO officials would not release more information.
