REFUGIO — The Refugio Junior High School is pleased to announce that five students qualified to participate in the Duke University Talent Identification Program.

The 7th grade students who qualified include Karen Garcia, Wilson Higdon, Kyra Klare, Ryan Linney and Trey Upton

The 7th Grade Talent Search provides an opportunity for highly able students to pursue an above-level testing experience. Eligible students qualified based on TAKS scores from 5th grade science, reading or math.

“Congratulations to these students for representing Refugio ISD in the Duke Talent Identification Program,” said Heidi Gillespie, counselor.
