Frank “Tex” Langbein, 75, passed away on April 2, 2013. He was born to Walter Langbein and Edna Danz Langbein on August 9, 1937 in Cypress Mills, Texas. Frank married Patricia Perry on April 2, 1965, in Leonardtown, Maryland. He was in the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War. Frank worked civil service until his retirement at several Naval Air Stations around the country including NAS Chase Field, NAS Kingsville, and NAS Corpus Christi. After retiring he worked as a loss prevention and safety coordinator at Motor Masters.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Langbein; father, Walter Langbein; and his parents, Victor and Edna Danz Lott.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Perry Langbein of Beeville, Russell Langbein and wife Paula of Honolulu, Hawaii, Vicki Jenks of Skidmore; and a granddaughter, Ashleigh Langbein of Emory, Virginia.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment was held that same afternoon at 2:45 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas, with full military honors.
