“This field day is an excellent opportunity for ranchers to learn all aspects of managing different habitats for various game birds in Bee County” said Matt Bochat, Bee County Extension agent. TPWD will have various session instructors on hand to discuss important topics to maximize your property for game birds. Some of the sessions will include; habitat management for dove, turkey and quail. The field day will also provide two hours of general pesticide applicator credit towards private applicator recertification.
The event is free and open to the public and will include lunch. Also, the event is rain or shine. Therefore, advance registration is requested by emailing names of attendees to bcwma@hughes.net or calling Ray Richards at 361-350-0106 by April 25.
