The 2012 Homecoming was a successful one for the George West Longhorns as they squared off with the Cole Cougars from San Antonio tonight.

The scoring came early and often for the heavily favored Longhorns as they crossed into the end zone four times in the first half for a 29-7 lead.

The second half saw many back ups enter the game for the Longhorns to get quality play time. Senior Lukas Barcak led the scoring for the Horns as he picked up his second rushing touchdown in the third quarter.

George West managed a couple more scores to run away with a 49-7 rout of the Cougars.

George West improves to 5-2 for the season, and 3-0 in District 15 play.

Next week, the Longhorns will travel to Goliad to take on the Tigers.
