Beeville — Gospel Truth will conclude Faith Lutheran’s Summer Concert series on Sunday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. This will be the third year that Gospel Truth will close the concert series for Faith Lutheran.

Gospel Truth, well known throughout the area for their tight harmonies and outstanding musicianship, performs traditional Southern Gospel music and enjoys throwing a few surprises at the audience. Unlike the other concerts in the series, this concert will be indoors and will begin a half hour earlier than the other concerts.

“We want to make sure everyone takes note that the concert will begin a half hour earlier than the other concerts. Due to the time of the year, with school being back in session, it makes sense to begin a little earlier,” concert coordinator Jim Stevenson said. “This concert will be indoors with air conditioning, and, for acoustical reasons, the concert will be in the sanctuary, but it is still part of our summer concert series, and everyone is invited to dress comfortably in shorts and T-shirts,” he added.

Gospel Truth is sure to put on another great show for the community, and this concert will be a great way to end the summer concert series, he said. Faith Lutheran extends an invitation to all gospel music lovers to join them for this evening of great music. A freewill offering will be collected, and all money will go to the musicians to help further defray the cost of their musical ministry.
