KARNES CITY – A Karnes County grand jury indicted 12 individuals on felony charges Jan. 22.

Stewart Ray Childers, 38, was indicted for assault by occlusion – family violence. The offense date was Sept. 19, 2013. Bond was continued.

Nicholas Cooper, 25, was indicted for evading with a vehicle. The offense date was April 27, 2013. Surety bond was set at $5,000.

Alfredo Gonzales, 60, was indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The offense date was May 25, 2013. Surety bond was set at $25,000.

Tawfik Hart, 28, was indicted for evading with a vehicle. The offense date was June 8, 2013. Surety bond was set at $50,000.

Stephen Rex Needham, 47, was indicted for driving while intoxicated - 3rd or more enhanced. The offense date was Aug. 2, 2013. Bond was continued.

Lionel Salinas, 50, was indicted for retaliation. The offense date was Oct. 28, 2013. Surety bond was set at $30,000.

Jared Semlinger, 24, was indicted for continuous family violence. The offense date was Aug. 2, 2013. Surety bond was set at $40,000.

Henry Valdonado, 32, was indicted for assault by occlusion – family violence. The offense date was April 16, 2013. Surety bond was set at $50,000.

Breanna Villanueva, 23, was indicted for forgery against elderly individual (33 counts). The offense dates were between June 28, 2013 through Sept. 15, 2013. Surety bond was set at $75,000.

Jonathan Williams was indicted for possession of a prohibited item in corrections facility. The offense date was July 10, 2011.

Roger Dale Arnett was indicted for possession of a prohibited item in corrections facility (three counts). The offense date was May 17, 2011.

Valarie Lynn Perez was indicted for bribery and provided a prohibited substance in corrections facility. The offense date was May 17, 2011. Surety bond was set at $10,000.
