Firefighters use the city’s new rural fire engine to spray foam on burning grass at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice’s firing range at the Chase Field Criminal Justice Center Thursday afternoon. Members of the Beeville Volunteer Fire Department were at the scene in time to keep the north breeze from pushing the flames beyond a fence line south of the berm on the range.
