Mrs. Bernal was born on Aug. 13, 1913, in Alfred to Tivurcio De Anda and Rita (Lamb) De Anda.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paulino Bernal; a daughter, Elvira B. Urquizo; and a son, Eloy Bernal.
Survivors include two daughters, Julia Bernal Earnest of Beeville and Guadalupe B. Benson of Ricardo; two sons, Paulino Bernal Sr. of McAllen and Luis Bernal Sr. of Kingsville; and one granddaughter, Diana Rogers of Idaho.
The funeral service was conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Centro De Milagros in Kingsville. Burial followed at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery in Kingsville.
