Helen Mae Louise Lamprecht, 85, died Sunday, Oct. 17. She was the cafeteria manager for Woodsboro Schools for many years and a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Woodsboro

She was also a member of the Mary Circle, the VFW Auxiliary, and was a room mother, a band mother, a sports booster club and quilt guild member.

She was born Sept. 27, 1925, in Corpus Christi to Robert Lee and Kathryn Bertha Holzheuser Chaddock.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lamprecht; one son, James “Cotton” Lamprecht; and grandson, James Lamprecht Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen and husband Jan Roy Allen of Woodsboro; son, Gary and his wife Brenda Lamprech of Woodsboro; sister, Tinikie Buerhig of Midlothian; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation was Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 6-8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Refugio.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 2 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Woodsboro.

Burial was in LaRosa Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tommy Lamprecht, Johnny Lamprecht, Robert Allen, Morgan Lamprecht, Dickie Harrison and T.J Henning.
