There will be a meeting of the Karnes County Historical Society at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29. The meeting will be held at 216 West Main, (formerly The Little Red School House) in Kenedy. At the meeting we will discuss success of Indian Summer Days held on Oct. 20 and begin planning for next year. Also on the agenda is future plans for the Helena complex, status of the Ruckman House restoration, the Karnes County Courthouse restoration schedule, new Historical Markers in 2012, membership drive and plans. There will not be a special meeting of the Flaccus group but status of the project will be on the regular agenda. We will also discuss plans for handling the many request we get for paranormal group visits and our new website created by Jan Johnson, www.karnesmuseum.com.

Many thanks to everyone who helped and attended the Indian Summer Day Festival this past Saturday.
