Cassandra Belew received a very special Christmas present. After serving a year in Afghanistan, Tom Belew came to Kenedy Elementary to surprise his daughter. He will be on leave for several weeks before he reports to his next assignment. There were many tears of joy as students and staff had the opportunity to witness the reunion of his daughter, son, and wife. Kenedy Elementary Students and Staff expressed heartfelt thanks to Tom and all of the troops for their service.
