Sophomores, juniors and seniors who are interested should pick up an interest form from the sponsor, Ms. LeBourveau in room 109. Candidates must have a cumulative, unweighted grade point average of 88 or higher [that is the average without adding extra points for upper level classes] and have completed a minimum of 8 semesters of AP or preAP classes by the end of the sophomore year. They also must maintain enrollment in at least one AP or preAP class at all times, as well as maintain the 88 cumulative, unweighted average.
Candidates also should be able to demonstrate leadership, service and character. The forms must be submitted no later than 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26. The induction ceremony for new members will be Monday, March 29.
