Jones High graduate receives Adult Probation scholarship

Michael Enax, director of the San Patricio County Community Supervision and Corrections Department, announced the recipients of the Judge John H. Miller Memorial Scholarship on May 28. The scholarship is entirely funded by employee contributions from the Adult Probation Department.

One of this year’s recipients is Ted Hernandez Christensen, son of Paul and Jo Ann Christensen. He is a 2009 graduate of A.C. Jones High School.

“We are fortunate to have such fine college bound graduates interested in the criminal justice field,” Enax said.

Christensen will receive a $500 scholarship to be used toward his degree in criminal justice.
