“We had a hard time counteracting their speed. That gave them an advantage offensively and defensively,” said coach Gracy Bryce.
“The girls worked hard and stuck with them.”
Zehlia Frias led the way offensively for the Lady Trojans with 12 points on the night. Krystal Cuellar added eight points. Noemi Lopez followed with seven. Celeste Contreras made five and Amanda Gonzales and Kaitlyn DeLeon both added four markers.
Brianna Jackson contributed three points and Adrianna Baltazar and Rebecca Contreras each had two.
The JV girls were in Corpus again on Monday night to play the West Oso Lady Bears. On Tuesday evening, the Beeville girls hosted the Ray Lady Texans.
