In January, your newspaper did a wonderful story on my husband, Scott Jones. I wanted to provide an update to you.

Since December, when it was determined that Scott had lung cancer, he has had four rounds of chemotherapy and 32 days of radiation. The chemo and radiation treatments ended on March 1. On May 7, his oncologists said that the cancer/tumors are gone and Scott is in remission!

Scott will have to undergo brain radiation in the next month in an effort to prevent the cancer from going to his brain. Then he will have regular checkups, starting in August.
