Karnes County grand jury indicts 33 people

KARNES CITY – When a Karnes County grand jury convened on Nov. 10, eleven people were indicted on state jail felony charges of engaging in criminal activity-gambling charges.

Hyam Lee (45), Jae Lee (45), Jae Kim (45), Yong Kim (64), Jong Kim (59), Dong Seo (47), Lisa Casanova (44), Alice Saenz (55), Felix Saenz (69), Audulia Cano (50) and Patricia Prieto (30) were given a $10,000 PR bond.

If convicted each person could face 180 days to two years in a state jail facility and up to a $10,000 fine.

There were twenty-two other indictments handed down.

Corey Case (21) was indicted on charges of Injury to a child.

This charge is a first degree felony and could carry a penalty of five to ninty-nine years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.

Carla Grimaldo (21) was indicted on charges of Injury to a child. This charge is a first degree felony and could carry a penalty of five to ninety-nine years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.

Angie Grimaldo (21) ) was indicted on charges of Injury to a child. This charge is a first degree felony and could carry a penalty of five to ninety-nine years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.

Mary Jane DeLeon (35) was indicted on second degree felony charges of abandoning/endangering a child.

If convicted this charge could carry a penalty of two to twenty years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.

Ramon Pena Sr. (55) was indicted on charges of DWI- subsequent arrest.

Christopher Estes (32) was indicted on charges of possession of controlled substance.

Marcos Cardona (28) was indicted on charges of evading arrest.

Luis Soliz (32) was indicted on charges of forgery.

Robert May (34) was indicted on charges of forgery.

Jerimiah Barrientez (34) was indicted on charges of evading arrest.

Martin Sanders (21) was indicted on charges of evading arrest.

Mario Mora (38) was indicted on charges of DWI- subsequent arrest.

Ronnie Martinez (24) was indicted on possession of a controlled substance - less than one gram.

This charge could carry a penalty of 180 days to two years in a state jail facility and up to a $10,000 fine.

Severiano Voldanado (24) was indicted on charges of evading arrest.

Jerry Tipps (51) was indicted on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm.

This charge is a third degree felony and could carry a penalty of two to ten years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.

Noe Estrada (45) was indicted on charges of indecency by contact.

If convicted this charge could carry a penalty of two to twenty years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.

Terry Pavlicek (51) was indicted on charges of DWI- subsequent arrest.

Larry Wayne Neyland (50) was indicted on charges of DWI- subsequent arrest.

Ray Martinez (20) was indicted on charges of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

This charge could carry a penalty of 180 days to two years in a state jail facility and up to a $10,000 fine.

Dusty Michelle Ivy (28) was indicted on possession of a controlled substance more than one gram of meth.

Julio Cesar Garcia-Guajardo (41) was indicted on charges of DWI- subsequent arrest.
