Megan Folbre won 8th place in Pole Bending, riding “Miss Bright Keno”, and also brought home 7th place in Halter Geldings, 6th place in Western Horsemanship, and 6th place in Trail Class, showing “Warlena Victory”.
Laramie Glover won 3rd place in Halter Mares, showing “Skipalita Spot”, and brought home 8th place in Western Pleasure, and 10th place in Trail class, riding “Dollar”.
Kristi Bolf earned 7th place in Halter Mares, 10th place in Western Horsemanship, and 9th place in Trail class with her horse, “JFPH Sabrina Lee”.
The Karnes County 4-H Horse Project group has monthly riding practices, an annual Skills Test Challenge, and has previously participated in the Runge Independence Day Parade, winning “Best-Decorated Mounted Group”.
Members would like to extend a special thank you to Rodney and Marci Urbanczyk for their continued support and use of their arena and to Patty Salge for her patient help as a riding coach.
