I Requests for help concerning the condition of County Road 145 began on April 6 and have continued weekly to both Carl Hummel, commissioner precinct 1, and Jeffrey Wiatrek, road administrator.
False promises from these individuals were made but not filled of sending a work crew to repair the damage caused by grading and exposing sharp pointy railroad rocks.
Those existing rocks have already caused more than $800 in damage in punctured tires and broken car lights.
The people in charge of county roads need to address the conditions which endanger the entrances to four owners’ property and postal delivery vehicles.
Please provide the assistance requested by retired individuals who live on fixed income and who vote in Karnes County.
