The Kenedy Grapewine Classic is Saturday March 16 from 1-7 p.m. at the Kenedy City Park. Pre-sale tickets for the event are $20 and can be bought at the Kenedy Chamber of Commerce. Pre-sale tickets will only be on sale until March 8, so get your tickets now. Find the Kenedy Grapewine Classic’s Facebook page for constant updates and chances to win free tickets to the event.
Applications to try out for Bluebonnet Days Queen, Jr. Miss and Little Mr. & Miss have been distributed out to all three schools in Kenedy. Applications must be turned in by March 1 to compete for these titles. A $1,000.00 Scholarship will be awarded to the 2013 Bluebonnet Days Queen, a $750.00 Scholarship will be awarded to the 1st Runner up and a $500.00 scholarship will be awarded to the 2nd Runner up. The Bluebonnet Day's Queen Pageant will be held at the Kenedy High School Auditorium on April 19. Contestants will be judged on western wear, dress-up attire, impromptu question, most photogenic and an informal judges interview.
