Ladies Auxiliary holds dinner out, finalizes plans for fundraiser

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Beeville Fire Department met on Monday, May 4, at 6 p.m. in Scores Sport Bar and Grill.

The ladies met for a meal out as this was their final meeting before the summer months. They will resume their meetings on Monday, Aug. 31, at 7 p.m. at the C.M. Smith Fire Station.

There were 11 members present for the meal and meeting. Final plans were made to help the firemen with their barbecue chicken fundraiser, which will be held Sunday, May 17. All firemen’s wives and auxiliary members were asked to bake cakes for the event.

The Ladies Auxiliary members were invited to attend a fish and shrimp meal at the fire station. The meal, prepared by some of the firemen, was served on Tuesday, May 12.
