The George West Lady Longhorns captured the first two sets of their best of five area match-up with Skidmore-Tynan on Thursday night in Beeville fairly easily, 25-13 and 25-15. Set three was close, but the S-T girls captured the set at 25-22 to make it a 2-1 match. Set four was again very close but the Lady 'Horns got a kill from senior Jane Riser to ice the win at 25-22 and capture the area crown at 3-1.
