The Lady Badgers Volleyball team’s district record stood at 1-3 after falling 19-25, 22-25, 25-19, 11-25 to Schulenburg Friday night.

The girls end the first round of district action Friday afternoon in Nixon, with JV beginning at 4:30 p.m., and then on Tuesday, Oct. 2, they travel to Poth to begin the second round of district games.

“We need to come together as a team and work as one,” senior libero Jonie Reyes said. “We need to do the little things – fundamentals that we need. We need to have that killer mentality and have faith in each other that we can do it.”

The JV Lady Badgers won their match against Schulenburg 25-22 and 25-19.
