Lady Cat Cecilia Bauer was named most valuable player; and Lady Cats Kristen Wise and Shelby Bellows were all tourney selections.
“This weekend proved to be a good one for Refugio softball,” said Coach David Cruhm.
In games one and two, Refugio shut out Rockport Fulton and Beeville, winning both matches 4-0.
Refugio slipped past Odem and Woodsboro 2-1 in games three and four, taking the advantage.
Game five was a stand-off between Aransas Pass and the Lady Cats. However, Refugio was statistically ahead by having more base runners and were awarded the win.
The last game of the tournament was against Riviera, which the Lady Cats lost 2-0.
