GOLIAD – Becky Shulda of the Baylor University Institute for Oral History visited the Goliad County Library on Sept. 19 to present 11 leather-bound copies of historical interviews by Goliad residents.

The Goliad Center for Texas History was awarded the 2010 Community Oral History Grant from the institute.

The library received the $2,500 grant from Baylor in 2010.

The interviews were of citizens from a diverse cross-section of the community.
