Katelyn Kegebein exhibited a market goat in Fort Worth and placed sixth and Ethan Ayala exhibited his shorthorn steer.
Participating in San Antonio to date is Larissa Liska, who showed two breeding goats and she received ninth place with her oldest nanny. Colton Ruschhaupt exhibited two Brahman heifers in the Junior Breeding Show. Boone Umphres also exhibited two Chiania heifers during the junior breeding heifer show. Quest Newberry exhibited his Simbrah heifer in the Simbrah Super bowl and the junior breeding heifer show he placed third in the junior breeding show. Kirsten Burkett, Cheyenne Chesser, Katelyn Kegebein, Tara Liska, Tanner Klepac, and Taylor Thompson exhibited market goats in San Antonio. Katelyn Kegebein placed third with her market goat.
Live Oak County 4-H members also participated in the 4-H Dairy Judging Contest those members are Alison Bryce, Shelby James, Katelyn Kegebein, Tara Liska, Whitley James, Jacy Johnson, Madison Mcclelland, Hillary Sellman, Jeremiah Ferrell, Lane McClelland, Blake Moseley and Taylor Thompson.
Larissa Liska was also honored during the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo she was one of the twenty 4-H members that was honored with the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo Rural Youth Award which is a $1,000 dollar scholarship.
