MARK STEPHEN TOGNACCI, 41, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2009. He was born on March 8, 1968, to Louis Tognacci and Sandra Mostella in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Mark was active in scouting and received his medal as an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Aransas Pass High School in 1986 and attended Del Mar College in Corpus Christi. Mark was a reserve peace officer in Aransas Pass and was a correctional officer with TDCJ at the T.J. McConnell Unit in Beeville, TX. Mark was known by all as an easy going, sweet dispositioned Texan.

He is survived by his father, Louis Tognacci and stepmother, Marilyn Tognacci of Chandler, Arizona; mother, Sandra Mostella Tognacci of Aransas Pass, TX; 2 brothers, Ned (Rachelle) Tognacci of Flagstaff, Arizona and Bob (Emily) Tognacci of Chandler, Arizona; uncles, Jack Ronchetto, Tommy Mostella, James Tognacci and Warren Tilton; aunt, Elaine Brown, and numerous cousins. He was a favorite uncle of Chloe, Lizzy, Ava, Joey and Samuel.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 9 am to 9 pm with family present to receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Chapel, 2003 West Wheeler, Aransas Pass, Texas. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Chapel in Aransas Pass, TX.
